Packaging (10/10)

This foundation comes in a frosted glass bottle and has a twist-open cap. Once you uncap the bottle, you can only detect a little peppermint candy scent (luvit so much!) when you sniff at it. The label contains all of the information that you need to know, including the ingredients, manufacture date, expiration date, and description. What I like about the bottle other than the frosted finish, is that it doesn't release too much product so you don't have to worry about spills and waste.

Formula (9/10)

According to the assistant, they carry 3 variations of liquid foundation. The first one is primer + foundation, while the second one is oil-based (for normal to dry skin), and this one is water-based (for oily to combination skin). True to its promise, this foundation is water-based and feels very light on the skin. It never feels greasy or oily and disappears or dries as soon as it's blended. MAGIC. This foundation has sheer to light coverage, meaning... it looks best on those with already clear or smooth skin. It may only partially cover scars or those with problematic skin such as acne.

This is a water-based formula and works best for oily skin type like me. I love its formula because my face never becomes greasy throughout the day, and it has a 'my skin but better' kind of finish, even without setting it with powder. It also has SPF 15 so you can rest assure that your skin would be protected from the sun's damaging rays (SPF15 = 15 minutes protection), helping to fight premature ageing of the skin and wrinkles. SPF 15 is good enough if you're usually staying indoors like office, home or school. (If you're in the field, at least SPF 30 is the minimum.)

Shade (10/10)

Testing them at the store, it was either Nude or Beige for me because of their yellow undertone. The 3 other shades look peachy or tan. So I decided on Beige, which was my ultimate match. At first, the liquid looks 2 or 3 shades lighter, but once blended, it simply disappears like MAGIC. (For your reference, my skin tone is NC30.)

There are 5 shades available in the store (except Ivory), and I think that for most people out there in the Philippines, Nude or Beige would be the best sellers. First impressions:

  • Ivory - presumably the lightest shade of them all, and not available in department stores
  • Porcelain - the lightest shade available
  • Nude - yellow undertone for fair skin
  • Beige - yellow undertone for golden / olive skin (NC30)
  • Bisque - peachy tan shade
  • Sand - the deepest shade

Performance (10/10)

Its formula is a miracle since it works great with my oily skin. Basically, it just disappears into your skin once you blend it. Afterwards, even at the end of the day when you need to re-touch already, I don't see any trace of foundation on my face, no streaks, no creases, etc. Just plain skin.

Why you should own this:
  • Beautiful frosted bottle
  • All information is listed on the label
  • Non-offensive scent
  • Natural finish
  • Super light finish disappears like MAGIC
  • Ultimate match shade
  • Easy to blend, quick dry
  • Water-based and works well with oily skin
  • Does not cause streaks to appear anytime
  • Perfect flawless finish even when sweating or flooding with oil
My reservations:
  • It's sheer coverage may not work well for those with problematic skin

Highly recommended for oily skin. I have nothing to say about this product but praises after using it for a few weeks. This product is great if you have smooth flawless skin. It has a sheer to medium coverage, which results in a glowing natural effect. However, if you have problematic skin and really need coverage, you might want to try Wet n Wild's other foundations instead. It's normally sold for P500 but you can get it for 10% less over at Zalora with their MasterCard Thursdays.
